What is it?
Photography 101 is a basic photography workshop that covers the essential & practical aspects of photography, camera and composition.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for all the young adults who are interested in getting into photography and need a hands-on introduction from a pro photographer to essentials of image making. The workshop is ideal for someone who is keen on getting a new digital camera, or has already bought one but needs to go beyond the 'Auto' mode.
What would be covered?
The workshop covers the fundamentals of photography, handling of a DSLR camera, basic
approach & techniques to various situations for photography. The objective of the workshop is to make an individual confident with handling of his/her camera and be equipped with a skill set essential to understand & practice the craft.
During the workshop you will learn the following aspects of photography:
Understanding Depth of Field
Shutter Speeds & Aperture
Composition & Language of the Image
Lenses & Field-of-View
Basic application of the concepts to various photographic situations
And a whole lot of other practical topics and tips.
What is the duration of the workshop?
The workshop is spread over a weekend with two sessions on consecutive days. Each session will be of 4 hours. The participants will be given assignments at the end of each session
