1. Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary (Karnataka)
Ranganthittu bird sanctuary is situated near to the banks of the Kaveri river in Karnataka. It is one of the smallest bird sanctuaries where flying Sparrows, beautiful peafowl, parrots, pelican, Indian giant squirrel and other rare species of fauna can be spotted. Beyond the beaches of Goa, Salim Ali bird sanctuary is one of the major tourist attractions in Goa.
