Dear 21st Centurions Tourist
Every one is curious by nature, and, their unquenchable curiosity is an extension of their history & mystery memory process. Understandably enough, they not only love adventures but also are very keen to take part in adventurous expeditions. In most cases, however, daily life compulsions come as a stumbling block to their participation in such expeditions.
We at THE RAJASTHAN DESERT,have chalked up an expedition programme meant exclusively for 21st Centurions kiddies, mom & pops, friends, which is not only unique conceptually but has never been attempted by anyone involving the whole family.
The expedition is a 11-day exposure to life, environment, culture, history and mystery in the deserts and sand dunes of Rajasthan, with visits to some lesser known, less-frequented yet most intriguing places around the desert.
The Sand Dunes of Rajasthan created by the eolian (wind related) processes have a compelling charm, so much so that these are capable of overshadowing the state's extremely famous forts and palaces. In fact, many foreign tourists who land in the state with a relatively short period of time prefer visiting the dunes to the indomitable forts and elegant palaces. Such is the fascination among the people for these sand dunes.
The unrelieved ocean of sand constantly changes its appearance at every gentle or strong gush of wind. In fact, the wind is like a pen that sketches and erases figures, shapes and images from the canvass of dunes every next moment. The countless images and figures that keep on emerging and vanishing from the surface of dunes because of the ceaseless activity of the wind charm the tourists immensely.
The best way to enjoy the desert and the sand dunes is to undertake a camel cart trip. The camel cart trip will be meticulously and very professionally organised and the camel owners-cum-guides who have been handpicked for the trip will be well aware of the changing temperament of the dunes. Therefore, the participating peoples can be assured of enjoying the magic of dunes completely in the company of these guides.
The experience is enthralling and the environment invigorating. The dunes are best visited during the months of October to February when the heat is relatively less in the region. We have timed and programmed the excursion in such a manner that the participating peoples can make full use of their Christmas and further down to New Year holidays without being required to miss their busy schedule.
Evenings and night are the best time to visit the dunes because at this time the silver rays of moon spread its radiance in the entire region thereby making it glow like an ornament. Adding to the magical charm of the atmosphere and environment are the wonderful folk dance and music performance by the local artists.
Overnight camping in the dunes is one of the main attractions of the expedition. No wonder, participating peoples will be thrilled with the entire experience.
We at The Rajasthan Desert have every confidence that you will immensely like this unique excursion programme involving the whole family & friends and encourage as many people as surrounding you.
We look forward to receiving you.
